Gold Fury Side
|Prime Gold Fury ward. This ward is placed underneath or behind Gold Fury. If placed correctly, the enemy has to attack Gold Fury in order to remove the ward. Note that Gold Fury doesn’t have to be pulled anymore to place the ward underneath it. This is a mandatory spot for sentry wards.
Defensive duo lane ward. This ward provides vision on four different paths as well as partly covers Gold Fury. Its main purpose is to detect enemy movement toward the duo lane. The Chaos version of this ward (right map) provides considerably inferior vision.
Forward Gold Fury ward. This ward is a countermeasure against ganks in the mid lane and it tracks the rotations of the enemy jungler to and from the Gold Fury side. It also helps with contesting mid harpies.
Forward duo lane ward. This ward provides the AD Carry in the duo lane with the necessary vision when pushing up the lane. This is a recommended spot for sentry wards since the enemy will have this place warded most of the time (compare Chaos map, ward 1).
Aggressive damage buff ward. This ward is placed through the Gold Fury side into the enemy damage buff camp. Of all the wards this one provides the deepest vision into the enemy jungle for aggressive play.
|Order provides superior ward coverage on the Gold Fury side due to the irregular shape of the map (compare wards 1 and 2).|
Fire Giant Side
|Prime Fire Giant ward. This ward is placed to one’s side of the Fire Giant chest. If placed correctly, Fire Giant will block the enemy’s line of sight on the ward. This is a mandatory spot for sentry wards.
Forward Fire Giant ward. This ward is a countermeasure against ganks in the mid lane and it tracks the rotations of the enemy jungler to and from the Fire Giant side. It also helps with contesting mid harpies. This is a recommended spot for sentry wards.
Deep solo lane ward. This ward closes off a primary pathway to the Fire Giant. It also gives the solo laner and jungler vital information on enemy movements in that area.
Aggressive speed buff ward. This ward is placed through the Fire Giant side into the enemy speed buff camp. Of all the wards this one provides the deepest vision into the enemy jungle for aggressive play.
|Chaos provides better ward coverage on the Fire Giant side, even if only marginally so (compare ward 3).|
